About Aggie DaSilva
Aggie DaSilva is a Harvard Certified Leadership Coach and the CEO for L&SA-Leadership and Sales Academy with offices in Pembroke Pines, in South Florida. He studied Economics at Universidade Federal do Amazonas and Business at Universidade Santa Ursula in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with major in industrial psychology.He was psychometrics certified by Thomas International in England which included Personal Profile Analysis; Emotional and General Intelligence Assessments to identify High Potential individuals in any profession and all related to individual performance at work. In 2010 he was a columnist of a Brazilian Paper down in South Florida and wrote a book called Chronicles of a Self-Exiled after writing in a Brazilian news paper as a columnist for more than 5 years.He has more than 30 years experience in Leadership and Management. He was the Management Training Director for a Management Consulting Company called Alexander Proudfoot, for almost 8 years. In the last 20 years he has coached more than 50 students to find their career path with the use of psychometrics and individual coaching sessions.With Proudfoot, he had the opportunity to work in more than 50 company projects and was responsible for a team of 40 management training consultants to cover all the Leadership Training Program as well as the implementation in all these projects of the Management Productivity System.
He was the General Manager for a coal mine in the South of Brazil with 5 thousand miners in 1984 until he created his own Management Consulting Company called MTD – Management Training and Development. In 1992 he met one of the renown psychologists in the US, Thomas Hendrickson, in Palm Springs, California, and then became in 1993 the first CEO of Thomas International Brazil, where psychometric was used for the first time in that country. After that, he opened the entire Thomas Latin American operation which involved 10 countries. At that position he helped more than 45 multinational companies to build high performance teams of leaders and sales management.
Psychometrics certified and administering assessments, Aggie had the opportunity to work with companies such as H&M, IBM, Citibank, Union Carbide, ABB, Volkswagen, Magneti Marelli, Cisneros Group, Telefonica North America, Neoris, Chubb & Sons, Caribbean Airlines, Pan Am International Flight Academy and many others. One of his major challenges was when he was part of the project when Asea merged with Brown Boveri to become one company today well known as ABB with more than 220 thousand collaborators all over the world.
