About Ashley Rainey, MSN, RNC-OB-IAP
Biography:
Ashley Rainey attained her Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree in 2011. She subsequently began her labor and delivery nursing profession at the Ascension St. Vincent Women’s Hospital. During her tenure, Ashley developed a deep-seated passion for perinatal care.
Ashley obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Nursing Education in 2018. Ashley is a Ph.D. in Nursing Research student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Ashley furthered her nursing career by serving in obstetrics-related roles throughout Indiana as a Nurse Educator and Clinical Operations Manager. Ashley serves as the Maternal and Child Health Clinical Director for the State of Indiana. In this capacity, she performs various functions to promote the clinical practice of the 77 delivering facilities in the state.
Ashley is an esteemed Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society member. Moreover, she was an alumna of the 2019 Maternal-Child Nursing Leadership Academy cohort. She remains involved with the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) nationally and locally.
