About Dr. Oara Neumann, Research Scientist at Rice University, Texas, USA
Oara Neumann has completed her PhD and Postdoctoral study in Applied Physics at Rice University, a MSc in Chemical Physics from Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and a MSc in Analytical Chemistry from Bucharest University, Romania. Her research primarily focuses on the application of plasmonic nanostructures in the biomedical field of detection, bioimaging, photothermal therapeutics, and drug delivery therapies. She is also a pioneer of nanoparticle- assisted solar thermal phase change effects that lead to multiple solar-based applications.
