About Dr. Pamela V. Stanley DNP, MSN, MBA, RN

Dr. Pamela Stanley possesses a unique knowledge of operational and clinical systems in healthcare organizations as well as extensive experience in nursing education, within both hospital and academic settings. Her diverse 35-year nursing career has given her a strong grasp of the needs and requirements of healthcare systems, universities, and the nursing profession. She has served in a variety of positions within hospitals and Academia. In hospital organizations she has held many leadership roles from house supervisor to large director roles. Dr. Stanley has worked within universities for the last 10 years. She was a dean of the school of Science, Allied Health, and Nursing where she created an inaugural undergraduate program, which resulted in 100% pass rates on NCLEX exam.

She has developed and implemented numerous training programs and led many processes improvement projects. She has overseen implementation of several: EMR systems, software integration and new graduate programs.[i]She has worked with hospital c-suite in providing education, overseeing research, and assisting in establishment of nursing budgets.

Her passion is building nursing curriculum, supporting nursing students/faculty at all levels, developing community partnerships where nursing students can complete clinical hours while serving the community. She has led partnerships with DYF, AC-Transit and homeless shelters on this journey.

Dr. Stanley has served as a coach and mentor in teaching and embedding Dr. Maria Orourke’s Role Driven practice theory in hospitals and within academic settings. She is currently working with Dr. Orourke to build this model more intentionally into an inaugural nursing program.

Dr. Stanley has an ASN (undergrade nursing), BSN, MSN, MBA, and DNP degree from USF in executive leadership. When she is not working you can find her enjoying her pool with her 4 adult children, 2 granddaughters or travelling the world with her husband.
